A dream that began in 2001

For more than twenty years we worked for some of the most respected winemakers in the world. We learned in their vineyards, in their cellars and through their finest vintages. Bonomo & Montiel was born out of that craft: the day we decided that all of it could also carry our own signature.

I managed the vineyards of Viña Cobos alongside Paul Hobbs, with whom I worked harvests at his winery in the United States. I also worked at Dolium, Las Piedras Pure Vine and Bodega Sottano. Today I am co-owner of Bonomo & Montiel and Vineyard Engineer for Grupo Salute.

I worked at boutique wineries such as Dolium, Piattelly Vineyards, Bodega Calle, Las Piedras Pura Vid and Martino Wines. Among other awards, I won the gold medal at the 2012 Malbec World Competition. Today I am co-owner of Bonomo & Montiel and Head Winemaker for Grupo Salute.

What began as a shared dream is today a brand with standing and recognition around the world. We work at a small scale by choice, not by limitation: it is the only way to follow every batch from end to end. The labels carry a fingerprint because every wine carries ours.
